Saturday, February 15th, 1992

Recording:  Gimme Some Money, Take 1 and Gloria, Takes 1 and 2.
    A night time session with Eric on vocals and drums and Kenny on electric rhythm guitar and backup vocals on Gloria.  Take 1 of Gloria was complete but the vocals were off-mic.  Take 2 of Gloria was complete, at 5.06.  Both songs were cover tunes.  Gimme Some Money, Take 1 was treated to a reduction mix on January 23rd, 1993.  This mix was not used.  It was treated to another reduction mix on October 29th, 1996 and Kenny added bass and lead guitar.  Another reduction mix on the same day allowed Kenny to add backup vocals and handclaps.  After the session, Kenny added bass guitar to Gloria, Take 2.

Sunday, February 16th, 1992

Recording:  Overdubs onto Gloria, Take 2.
    Overdubs onto the previous night's recording of Gloria, Take 2, consisting of tambourine and maraca, played by Kenny.

Wednesday, March 11th, 1992

Recording:  Love Stinks, Take 1, Instrumental #64, Take 1, Travelin' Band, Take 1, Cocaine, Take 1, Instrumental #65, Takes 1 and 2, Blues Tune In A, Take 1 and Get Back, Takes 1-10.
    A  daytime session in which Eric played drums and Kenny played electric guitar on every track.  Kenny sang lead vocals on Love Stinks, which broke down and is incomplete, and Get Back.  Eric sang lead vocals on Travelin' Band and Blues Tune In A.  They both shared lead vocals on Cocaine, Take 1.  Get Back, Take 1 was complete.  Get Back, Take 2, (the infamous "Willie Version," which features Eric on vocals, too), broke down intentionally.  Get Back, Takes 3 and 4 were wiped by Take 5, which was complete.  Get Back, Takes 6, 7, 8 and 9 were wiped by Take 10, which was complete.  Afterwards, Kenny played bass guitar on Get Back, Take 10 and a reduction mix was made to allow for two lead guitar parts.  (Lead guitar was added by Kenny onto Get Back, Take 10 on March 15th, 1992 and it was complete.)

Friday, March 13th, 1992

Recording:  Intro/Honky Tonk Women, Take 1, Honky Tonk Women, Takes 2-4, Back In The U.S.S.R., Take 1, Album Song #7 (Fast Version), Take 6 (actually Take 1), and Untitled Instrumental, Take 1.
    Another day session which saw Eric playing drums and Kenny playing electric guitar on all tracks.  Eric sang lead vocals on Honky Tonk Women, Takes 1-4 and Album Song #7 (Fast Version), Take 6 and Kenny sang lead vocals on Back In The U.S.S.R., Take 1.  Album Song #7 (Fast Version), Take 6 broke down and only lasted 38 seconds.  Honky Tonk Women, Takes 1-3 broke down and are not complete, while Take 4 was a short edit piece of the end of the song.  Intro/Honky Tonk Women, Part 1 and the edit piece of Honky Tonk Women, Part 4 were edited together to make a complete version and was numbered Take 5.  Untitled Instrumental, Take 1, was a suite of four different parts and lasted for 14 minutes and 7 seconds.  (Kenny added bass guitar onto all four parts of the Untitled Instrumental, Take 1 on December 9th and December 10th, 1993.)

Recording:  Overdubs onto Get Back, Take 10.
    A night session where Kenny recorded lead guitar parts for Get Back, Take 10, a combination of which was used for the final mix.

Monday, March 16th, 1992

Recording:  Overdubs onto 16, Take 1.
    Eric recorded a vocal alongside the guitar track for Take 1 of "16" that was recorded on January 17th, 1992.

Monday, March 23rd, 1992

Recording:  Spanish Riff, Takes 1 and 2, Fie Es Ein Fisch, Takes 1-3 and Purple Haze, Take 1.
    A nighttime session with Eric on drums and Kenny on acoustic and electric guitar.  Spanish Riff, Take 1 breaks down.  Take 2 lasted 27 seconds and featured Eric playing maraca and Kenny on acoustic guitar. Fie Es Ein Fisch, Take 1 broke down and was wiped by Take 2.  Take 2 broke down as well and Take 3 was an edit piece for the end. Fie Es Ein Fisch, Takes 2 and 3 were edited together to make a whole version and it was numbered Take 4.  Kenny sang lead vocals for the first half of Fie Es Ein Fisch, (which was actually Take 2) and Eric sang lead vocals for Fie Es Ein Fisch, (which consisted of Take 3.)  Kenny played electric guitar on all three takes.  Purple Haze, Take 1 had Kenny playing an acoustic rhythm guitar and later bass guitar.  Eric played drums and later added backwards cymbals.  Kenny sang lead vocals on Purple Haze, Take 1 while Eric added background vocals for the middle of the song, which were recorded backwards.  Kenny added an electric guitar part, recorded backwards for the beginning of Purpe Haze, Take 1.

Monday, March 30th, 1992

Recording:  I'm Glad You're Gone, Take 1, Roll Over, Takes 1-5, Looking For My Smokes, Take 1 and My Love Is Surreal, Takes 1 and 2.
    I'm Glad You're Gone, Take 1, features Kenny playing acoustic guitar for the opening of the song and electric guitar for the rest of the song.  Eric played drums and sang lead.  Roll Over featured double-tracked lead vocals by Eric and Kenny on acoustic guitar for all 5 takes.  Roll Over, Takes 1 and 2 are complete.  Takes 3 and 4 broke down and were wiped by Take 5.  Roll Over, Take 2 was deemed best, so it received backup vocals and an acoustic lead guitar solo by Kenny.  Take 2 ended up being selected for inclusion on the Terror In Tucson album Northern Song.  Looking For My Smokes, Take 1, was an ad-libbed song, written while it was being recorded in this one and only take.  Eric on lead vocals and Kenny on acoustic guitar.  My Love Is Surreal, Takes 1 and 2 was semi-impromtu, with basic words ad-libbed by Eric to a new acoustic rhythm guitar backing played by Kenny.  Take 1 broke down and was wiped by Take 2.  A day session.

Wednesday, April 1st, 1992

Recording:  Katy Bar The Door, Takes 1-3.
    Takes 1 and 2 broke down, while Take 3 of Katy Bar The Door was complete.  Eric played the drums and Kenny played acoustic and electric rhythm guitars and bass guitar.  Take 3 ended up being a full demo version and not the version that ended up on the Northern Song album.

Sunday, April 5th, 1992

Recording:  The Joker, Takes 1-6, Instrumental #66, Takes 1-9, Instrumental #67, Takes 1-8.  Overdubbing on Looking For My Smokes, Take 1 and My Love Is Surreal, Take 2.
    Eric played drums for most of the new recordings, while Kenny played electric guitar for most of them except for Instrumental #67.  The Joker was recorded in 6 takes, the first 5 breaking down and being recorded over.  Take 6 was complete.  Takes 1-7 of Instrumental #66 broke down, each being wiped by the next take.  Take 8 broke down as well, but a short edit piece, entitled Take 9 was recorded and Takes 8 and 9 were edited together to make a complete version.  Instrumental #67 started out with Eric on acoustic guitar and Kenny on electric guitar for Takes 1-5.  Takes 1-4 broke down, but Take 5 was complete.  For Takes 6-8 of Instrumental #67, Eric switched to drums and Kenny play acoustic guitar.  Takes 6 and 7 broke down and ended up being wiped by Take 8, which was a complete version.  This was all done in a night session.  Earlier in the day, Kenny added drums to Looking For My Smokes, Take 1 and My Love Is Surreal, Take 2.

Monday, April 6th, 1992

Recording:  Instrumental #68, Takes 1-4, Goodbye Redneck, Take 1 and overdubbing on Katy Bar The Door, Take 3.
    A daytime session.  Instrumental #68, Takes 1-3 broke down and were wiped by each subsequent take.  Take 4 was complete and featured Eric on drums and Kenny on acoustic rhythm guitar.  Goodbye Redneck, Take 1, was a demo recording by Eric on acoustic rhythm guitar and lead vocals.  After this, Eric added two lead vocals to Katy Bar The Door, Take 3 - one normal and one distorted.

    Kenny added an acoustic guitar part to the demo Take 1 of Goodbye Redneck.

Tuesday, April 14th, 1992

Recording: Cool Water, Takes 1-3 and Goodbye Redneck, Takes 2-5.
    A daytime session to try and record a regular, releaseable version of Goodbye Redneck.  Starting out, however, they did a quick impromptu version of Cool Water, Takes 1-3, (with Take 1 and Take 3 being complete), which was just a snippet of the old Sons Of The Pioneers western song.  It featured Eric on lead vocals and Kenny on harmony vocals and acoustic guitar.  Then to the work at hand.  Eric sang lead vocals on Goodbye Redneck and Kenny played acoustic guitar.  Takes 2-4 broke down and were wiped by Take 5.  Take 5 broke down at the 8.31 mark, but was faded out at that point in the final mix.  Goodbye Redneck, Take 5 was a song that made it onto the album Northern Song.
